Situated in the northwest of Italy, surrounded by the wine-growing hills of Chianti, Florence (Firenze) is renowned as a centre for art and culture. The conference and exhibition will take place in Stazione Leopolda at Porta al Prato, not far from the Parco delle Cascine. Once a rail-road station, Stazione Leopolda is an impressive venue offering an innovative space for Pangborn 2009: conference sessions will take place in soundproof, air conditioned rooms within the main hall.
