Registration InformationSymposium Registration FeesDelegates should register before 1 May 2009 to save €100 on the Symposium registration fee. Optional Gala DinnerThe optional gala dinner will take place on Wednesday 26 July in the courtyard of the Palazzo Pitti (www.polomuseale.firenze.it/english/musei/palazzopitti/ - link will open in a new window). The Palazzo Pitti is located in central Florence and the evening will provide entertainment with a local flavour. The cost of the dinner per person is €70 + VAT @ 20% = €84.00. Please book tickets via the registration form. Author registration deadlineAccepted presenters should register no later than Friday 15 May 2009 to ensure that their material is included in the final programme and the book of abstracts. Non-registered presentations will be withdrawn from the symposium programme after this date. PaymentRegistration fees are payable in advance of the conference. In order to expedite the registration process, please complete the registration form with your credit card details. Confirmation of your credit card payment along with registration confirmation documents will be sent to you by (air)mail. If you do not receive confirmation of your registration 7 days prior to the event, please contact the Symposium Secretariat. Alternative payment methods: Cheques should be made payable to Elsevier and should be sent with your completed registration form. In order to pay by bank transfer, you will first require an invoice. An invoice will be sent to you by airmail upon receipt of a signed registration form completed with your contact details and registration details. The reverse side of the invoice provides Elsevier bank account details for transfer purposes. Please do not transfer fees until you have received your invoice. It is essential that you include your invoice number when instructing your bank. Please forward a copy of the bank transfer documentation to the Symposium Secretariat. CancellationsSubstitutions may be made at any time but please advise the Symposium Secretariat of a change of name. If you find it necessary to cancel the registration completely, please notify the Symposium Secretariat immediately. Provided written notice is received by 12 June 2009, a full refund will be given less a 10% administration charge. Provided written notice is received 26 June 2009, a 50% refund will be given. It is regretted for registrations cancelled after 26 June 2009, or for no-shows at the conference, the full fee (100% cancellation charges) will be payable. In the unlikely event that Elsevier shall deem it necessary to cancel the conference, all pre-paid registration fees will be reimbursed. Elsevier shall not be liable for reimbursing the cost of travel or accommodation arrangements made by individual delegates. ChangesDetails are correct at time of going to print. Elsevier reserves the right to change any session in the final programme. PhotographyPlease be advised that no photography or video/sound recording of conference presentations is allowed to take place during the conference.
